“Ver una mujer: sólo por un segundo, sólo por el breve lapso de una mirada, para luego volver a perderla, en la oscuridad de un pasillo, tras una puerta que me está vedado abrir (…) Nada sabía yo de este miedo que ha vuelto a asaltarme: es como un dolor en el que uno no puede creer y uno lo acepta con una sonrisa (…) ¿Cómo explicar que me ha sobrevenido como una enfermedad repentina?”

La editorial minúscula ha editado este precioso libro que leí del tirón, con un te y un poco de brisa.

Devenires es el nombre de un nuevo proyecto en el que estoy trabajando, ha sido seleccionado para participar en esta exposición que se podrá ver hata el 16 de mayo.

One consciousness involves the creation of a culture. And this is made by means of a process. If we wish it, the video-art can be consolidated like one of the most important artistic expressions of our days. It’s only necessary the desire of hundreds of persons around the world.

We’ll celebrate the “International Day of the Videoart”, next 22th of june. It’s an initiative of Optica Festival. From here, we invite you to take part of this event with your friends or individually, there where you’re.

Our goal is that the greater number of people celebrates and/or values the importance of the audiovisual culture, during this day.

It’s a question of making a photo of you or a group of people, and to send it to us by e-mail later. With the received photos, we’ll create a report of all things that happen this day around the world.

If you’re interested in participating, you can send us an e-mail with your full name, city and country at videoart.day@opticafestival.com.

You can choose the site, the moment and the company… We’ll send to you the PDF file with the graphic design of the poster with which you must make the photo.

Giselle came long time ago, from a Wong Kar Wai film. She has an awesome voice, sensuality and strenght and you can she her singing with Javi, the other side of Freak Mummy: pure energy and guitar.

Matts and Pablo accompany them in this adventure of recording the cd, Paola Bragado has made the photographs and I am making the graphics for the cd.

Cinestesias se definen como: “Una sociación cultural dedicada al desarrollo de nuevas redes de producción, distribución y difusión del cine y el vídeo realizado por jóvenes profesionales y estudiantes. CINESTESIAS trabaja a nivel local en Madrid y a nivel internacional a través de la red europea de cine joven Nisi Masa con la que desarrollamos proyectos audiovisuales a lo largo de toda Europa”.

Yoko me avisó de que los domingos organizan sesiones de cortos y video, así que me he apunté a la del domingo pasado que iba sobre silencios… y les mandé el haiku#1.
