The best idea in years: Dr. Sketchy´s Anti Art Scholl.
Molly Crabtree thought that the art class lacks something… and here it is: Burlesque models and figure drawing class all together in a perfect cocktail.
It was great.
It was the other day at Mina Gallery in San Francisco.
A beautiful lady: Eva Von Slut and a lot of people ready to draw her. Besides: wine, good music, lots of people drawing in a huge table, amazing drawings by the way… a contest, a gallery…

Curiosamente.. salen hilos!
//Nano push me just “a bout” of the Grand Canyon to see further than the lanscape that it is in front of me…
And the result is… more threads

//I have been drawing ladies for a while.
It just started at the gynecology waiting room, last year I spent long hours at the doctor and it was full of woman, now I paint them in airports, coffeshops and museums… and I imagine their naked bodies…
Well, a new perversion to add to the list, I guess.
Those are some of the portrait ladies and the notebook at ISSUU.

A ratos difícil, críptico, extremadamente poético y evocador…
//I have been working with Carlos making the videos for the show, an amazing text by Edward Bond, which is sometimes difficult and cryptic, but extremely poetic and powerful. In Madrid, at the Círculo de Bellas Artes from December the 5th.
//Some rehersal pictures. I will put the videos on the website soon….

This is a picture of the Harvey Theatre where we went to see Quartet. A Heiner Müller´s version of Les Liaisons dangereuses, by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.
Isabelle Hupert was amazing. The best of the whole play. The set was completely Wilson… beautiful and extreme and sometimes the words by Müller where poetry…
I liked it.

I went to see Zee by Kurt Hentschläger, one of the most incredible experiences I ever have.
You enter in a non-space, non-dimension place where all the perception it is suspended.
I wonder of what Bachelard could have says inside that room.

Photo of the performance´s leaflet.
What people from future perfect says:
“ZEE is a rigorous mindscape; a hallucinatory architecture of light; a dream machine.
An enclosed space is filled with a dense, odorless fog that completely obscures the walls, floor and ceiling. Individuals freely roam this environment, while flickering light filters through the haze, inducing hallucinations and sensory distortions within each viewer. A droning soundscape intensifies this full-immersion experience, shifting dynamically according to changes in the color, frequency and intensity of the light.
Exhilarating and meditative, Kurt Hentschläger’s pulsing, stroboscopic and mind-altering ZEE pushes the boundaries of human perception and creates an intense audiovisual journey. A constant innovator and one of the most influential figures in the field of contemporary art and technology, Hentschläger merges conceptual art, sound, video, performance, and technology in his large-scale installations”.
In my own words, when you go inside, what you experience is unique from those who are sharing the room with you. There is at the beginning fear and loneliness… and after a while: that thing becomes your universe… For me it was like a kind of acid trip full of color and geometrical patterns that generate curves, impossible arquitectures and sometimes even people… weird figures here and there.
Amazing!

I am trying to make a small documentary here at the MEx, the place I am working now. The MEx is for me one of those places that have a lot of personality and that is because of the people who are living there.
I began for doing the flyer to let people know about it.
Translator assistant: David! thank you sooo much!

Beautiful: “The nose” by Gogol meeting Cervantes, the very idea of creation and the playfull meaning of performance.
I really already like William Kentridge´s drawings but I really like him too. It was funny and humble.
In the audience: Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson.
The performance by William Kentridge is part of the performa09 Biennale in New York: a performance festival full of possibilities which is running up to the end of the month.
I have seen already the last film by Tacita Dean about Merce Cunningham, a performance by Joan Jonas and and the performa hub it is full of interesting videos. I miss the tickets to go and see Yvonne Rainer… well… You cann´t have everything…

Exhibition at Studio 304, Brooklyn, New York.
Yesterday we went to 304 Studio and here they are some pictures of the event.

The sexiest woman on earth and her beautiful streaptease dance.
It was great, I found out about Mara’s work and weird and mysterious airports in Spain, María came to see me and it was beautiful to see her after so long… and I met Ester and her beautiful project Shadows of the cliff, that you can check out at
I also met Susan Hilvert from Ohio, who presented a beautiful documentary film about the New York Marathon, which it was awesome and extremely funny, that kind of sense of humor that I love.
I finally presented Orlando, happy about it!
And nice people, beautiful place and a lot of work from Mara and the other organizers… Thank you very much!!

Mara Catalán have organized a screening and performance session at Studio304, a Gallery in Brooklyn.
The Studio 304 Slideshow includes photography and video by over 20 different artists from around the World (I will show some work too and I did the flyer).
The whole thing is part of BETA Spaces Festival in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
We will be Broadcasting live from Studio 304 to the Boca del Lobo gallery space in Madrid, Spain.
So… for those in New York and also it could be nice if the people in Madrid want to go and see it!

Ok, so… It was Halloween!
I have been watching for days, how people became dinosaurs and weird monsters in my working space, how people were queuing at the streets for “the” hat or “the” mask… and I have also seen all kind of “sexy-everything-costumes” on “sexy-everything-girls” everywhere!
And finally, Halloween happened and everyone went crazy in this city, and although it was raining cats and dogs for hours and the parade was full of people that you could hardly walk it was so funny and Sonia and me we were dressed as grave diggers and there was a party in our place where people end up naked and drunk and you could find a jellyfish kissing a marine.
And well… I think this is all about.
